 | Structural Analyst (7312) |
| Requires ACTIVE - SECRET CLEARANCE.
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of position related experience.
Experience Requirements/Skills: Develop structural analyses in support of fleet maintenance and manufacturing operations. Develop structural solutions to difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with program objectives. Utilize computer-aided analysis programs and classical analysis techniques to determine basic data and perform analyses of internal loads, stresses, and damage tolerance as necessary to support structural modifications and MRB related activities. Coordinate with other engineering organizations during development of solutions. Review completed analyses and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards and procedures, specifications and accuracy. Identify analysis errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommend revisions and/or improvements in design solutions to responsible parties. Excellent documentation skills are required.
Required skills/experience:
Proficiency in classical aerospace detailed stress analysis
Proficiency in NASTRAN and PATRAN preferred
MRB Experience
Durability and damage tolerance analysis
Proficiency with AFGROW preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel 2007
